Robert M. Amen has been appointed chairman of the board and chief executive. Most recently he served as president of International Paper Company. Amen succeeds Arthur C. Martinez, who has served as interim chairman and chief executive since the retirement of Richard A. Goldstein in May and return to his role as lead director of IFF.
